The Edmonton Kennel Club was formed in 1910 to promote purebred dogs.

Our club holds meetings which sometimes have an educational portion. Members receive a newsletter to keep them up to date with club activities.

One dog show/obedience trial weekend is held each year. The shows/trials are run entirely by our club volunteers. To see information about these shows or to place an entry online, please see Shows and Trials.

Our membership supports responsible dog ownership.

In 2010, we created and yearly donate funds to the Edmonton Kennel Club Centennial Bursary to assist a student in the Animal Health Technology program at NAIT.
